The new SilkTec coating gives the Weinmann Joyce SilkGel Full Face Mask the smoothest and softest surface yet seen on a CPAP mask. Building on the success of the Joyce range, particularly the Joyce Full Face Gel, the Joyce SilkGel is Weinmann’s most advanced offering yet.

The Joyce range is renowned for it’s intelligent modular design. All of the Joyce Full Face masks can have their cushions interchanged. So if you were to choose the SilkGel mask, but instead wanted a regular silicone cushion instead, then you can simply purchase a silicone cushion – there is no need to get a complete new mask. This freedom of choice makes the Joyce range the most flexible full face masks available.

The SilkGel’s unique coating makes the mask incredibly easy to clean. Hardly anything adheres to the ultra-smooth surface, such as perspiration, making cleaning the mask quick and easy. The single-layer cushion means there are no awkward nooks and crannies to reach either, so maintenance has rarely been more straightforward.

Underneath the SilkTec coating is the same soft, blue gel found in the regular Joyce Full Face Gel mask. This soft, flexible gel gives a notable improvement in comfort, seal and fit over a standard cushion. If you have been having difficulty getting comfortable with a regular silicone mask, it may be time to try a gel mask, for the superior comfort and ease of fit they offer.

Ball and socket joint offers greater freedom to move

The Joyce range remains the only gel mask with a ball-and-socket joint for the elbow. This gives the greatest freedom possible, minimising hose tug and the possibility of it causing the mask to dislodge. This freedom means you can change position freely with less chance of losing your seal.

The headgear design is laid out to make adjustments as easy as possible. The Velcro fasteners are colour-coded for simplicity, and the headgear features a tube anchoring strap for the benefit of those who prefer the hosing the exit above their heads.
