S.Box 24V DC Cable from Sefam

Using your Sefam S.Box CPAP Machine outside its usual bedroom surroundings is very simple. Not only does the unit include a convenient travel bag, you can also hook up your machine to a 24V DC power source using this cable if mains power is not a (reliable) option.

Please note because this cable uses 24V, it cannot be powered from a 12V socket. You may need to consider a converter if this is your only power source. We apologise that Intus cannot provide or recommend such a converter. There is no 12V cable for the S.Box machine; this cable is the only DC option available.

The cigarette lighter cable is approximately 5m (32ft) long.

Humidification on 24V DC

The heater for the S.box’s humidification system can operate directly from a DC power source, however it will use significantly more power. Battery run times will be up to 75% lower as a result. Therefore, we would recommend not using heated humidification from a battery unless essential. As a short-term alternative, passover humidification is still available (humidifier attached but the water isn’t heated), or consider a Universal Waterless Humidifier.
